The Tarbiyah Department provides ICNA Sister members with essential knowledge of the Quran, Sunnah, Fiqh, Arabic, Islamic history, the Islamic movement and similar subjects. The goal is to develop sisters who exemplify high moral character, sound knowledge of Islamic principles, and understand their responsibility to serve their communities and share the message of Allah. The department prepares the members to live Islam through word and action and motivate them to develop their spiritual and intellectual abilities. To do this, the department creates a study syllabus which it provides regularly to members and mechanisms are put in place to track and follow-up.
