Election Day
Election day is finally here! Thank you all for voting – we are so proud to be a part of such a civically engaged community!
May Allah swt grant us the strength to persevere and be the role model for our communities.
Please vote and share your stickers!
We hope everyone who is eligible has voted or has made a plan to vote! We know this can be both an exciting, and sometimes stressful, period during an already demanding time of the year.
For Muslims, voting is not just a civic responsibility but an amanah, a trust given by Allah. Participating in our elections allows Muslims to uphold justice, advocate for community values, and support leaders who aim for the common good, which aligns with Islamic principles of stewardship and responsibility. By voting, Muslims honor their duty to contribute to a just society, protecting rights and promoting ethical governance. It is a means to fulfill the trust that Allah has placed upon individuals to make positive contributions to society and be responsible for decisions that impact the community.
